What is the first step to book for event/special occasion makeup?

How do I secure my appointment slot?

You must electronically sign our service agreement and pay a non-refundable 40% deposit in order to hold your appointment. We cannot hold appointments without a deposit and signed agreement. 

How do I pay for my services?

We send an electronic invoice and service agreement to each client upon booking via email. Please check your spam folder in case you have not received the email.  

What are your makeup rates and what is included in the price?

$200 for a full face deluxe makeup application.  Our package includes a brief consultation followed by our customized skincare preparation using top skincare brands that is formulated to the client's skin type and targets specific problem areas. This is an important first step which is necessary to execute our soft glam makeup application.  From there, we begin our foundation matching process, color correction, if needed, highlighting and contouring according to the client's face shape, brow shaping, eye shadow and lash application (if desired) and lip application. Skin is then set using our heavy duty finishing and setting sprays to guarantee 8-10 hour longevity. Client also receives a touch up kit which will include a sample of the lip product used for the application and powder for touching up on your own. 

What are your hair rates and what is included in the price?

We offer event/special occasion hair styling. Blowouts are $100, a half or full updo is $125; hot tool styling is $100. 

Can I bring my own extensions for you to install?

We can install your clip-in or tape-in extensions for an additional fee between $50 to $150.

Do you provide extensions?

We do not provide extensions however, our hair stylists can recommend extensions for you to purchase on your own.

Can you install my wig?

A glueless wig install is $75; a glued lace wig install is $250.

What hair types do you work with?

We work will ALL hair textures and lengths and clients of all ethnicities.

Do you work with natural hair including locs?

Yes, our hair stylists specialize in hair styling for all textures and lengths for clients with unprocessed hair and locs.

Do you offer chemical hair treatments?

Unfortunately we cannot offer these services since we are a traveling company. These services must be done in a salon.

Do you cut hair?

Our licensed cosmetologists can provide hair cutting, if desired.

Do you offer hair services for men?

Yes, we offer hair cutting services to men with all lengths and textures.

Do you offer discounted rates?

We occasionally offer discount codes to our regular clients only.  

Do I pay after completion of the service?

Your balance must be paid 48 hours prior to the appointment date in full or your appointment is subject to cancellation.  We do not accept same-day payments.

How do I pay my invoice balance?

By using the link sent in the original email with your invoice.  If you have lost or cannot find this email, feel free to contact us so that we can resend the payment link.

What forms of payment can I use?

Most major debit/credit cards via the electronic invoice (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).

Do you accept cash?

We only accept cash in the form of gratuity. You can also add gratuity electronically when paying your invoice in full.

Do you take same-day appointments?

Yes we do! These appointments will incur a $75 fee.

Do you travel to your clients?

We are a luxury concierge beauty company, which means we conveniently bring the salon experience to you! We will travel with a full makeup and/or hair kit, chair and lighting.  This will incur a $75 fee to all locations within the Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD metro areas. Clients are responsible for all parking fees.

Can you accommodate my early start time?

Yes, just let us know what time you need us to begin.  For any appointments prior to 8:00 am, a $100 fee will incur; appointments before 6:00 am will incur a $150 fee.  

Can you do hair and makeup for photoshoots? Can you stay on set and offer touchups?

Yes, we can do your hair and/or makeup for your photoshoot.  We offer an hourly rate if you need us to stay on set for additional touchups or makeup or hair changes.

Can I use my own makeup?

You are free to bring your own makeup, however we will use our own discretion to determine if it is the best product to use based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the longevity, color match and/or quality of the product.

Do you provide lashes?

Yes! We have a variety of strip lashes for you to choose from which come with every makeup application if you desire.

Should I wash my hair before my hair service?

We require your hair to be freshly washed and blowdried prior to your service. For blowouts, your hair can be slightly damp.

Do you take before and after pics?

We obtain authorization to take before and after pictures or video through our electronic service agreement because we respect our client's right to privacy.  If you would like to opt-out of this, please let us know.  On the day of your appointment, we will always ask although you may have opted-in as we respect your right to change your mind.   

How long does it take for you to complete the look?

From start to finish, we allocate up to 90 minutes from the time we arrive until we leave your location, per client.  If you need us to finish quicker, please let us know as will can accommodate your schedule.

Can I only get my eyes?

Unfortunately, we do not accommodate requests for eyes only as we prefer to make sure the client has the full experience our deluxe makeup application has to offer!

I want a "natural" or "simple" makeup look.  Can I pay less if I want less makeup?

Believe it or not, "barely there" makeup actually requires sometimes the same amount of product as would a soft or full glam look.  In order to make the complexion look "skin-like", it may require using more foundation, for example, than you would imagine!  Because of this, we can not estimate how much product will be used to create a "barely there" look, therefore we cannot adjust the pricing to a lower rate.  

Do you service children?

Yes, we do.  Please note that the rates for hair and makeup differs from our normal rates.  Whether for a photoshoot, performance or wedding, we can make your child look like a star!
